Easy Made Beef Brisket

Brisket needs some time to get cooked for its toughness. To make this tender Beef Brisket, this needs to be in a slow cooker or oven at a low temperature for quite a period of time after the flavors have been rubbed into the meat. This recipe takes a lot of patience but will surely leave you satisfied.

Having a barbecue sauce bought makes this recipe easier since it already takes a lot of time. But you can always make one by yourself if ingredients are available in your kitchen.

Ingredients:

  • Beef Brisket: Slow cook makes this tender.
  • Barbecue Sauce: Buying barbecue sauce from the store will make your life easier. But you can always create your own.
  • Soy Sauce: Makes a great marinade while adding color.
  • Water: Condenses the sauce a bit to get easily absorbed by the meat.

Preparation:

This Beef Brisket has only 3 steps but may take hours to get prepared. It’s all worth it.

  1. Preheat: Have the oven prepared by preheating to 300 degrees F.
  2. Mix: Make the sauce by mixing barbecue sauce, soy sauce and water in a medium bowl.
  3. Rub: Generously massage the sauce on the beef brisket then wrap the brisket using an aluminum foil.
  4. Roast: Roast for 3 hours.
  5. Slice: Slice the beef into ⅓ inch before serving. Glazing with barbecue sauce can make it more delicious and moist.

Tips and Variations:

Beef Brisket takes time to get cooked. Allowing it to be marinated overnight can give you less time cooking while still tender.

  • Marinate: You can have this marinated in the fridge using the barbecue sauce instead of just rubbing it to the beef. Simply place in a ziplock bag and lay in the freezer or place in a container and put in the fridge overnight. 

Storage:

Since this takes a bit to get cooked, it is practical to prepare more that you can have for later.

  • On the Fridge: Put in the beef in an airtight container then put in the fridge. You can have your beef brisket for 3-5 days more.
  • Freeze: In a ziplock bag, place in the beef brisket then lay in the freezer. This will allow your beef brisket to stay for 3-4 weeks more.
  • Reheat: No reheating needed. Just thaw for 2-3 hours.

  • 1 and a half kg Beef Brisket, whole
  • 6 to 7 oz barbecue sauce, either homemade or bought
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup of water
