Raspberry Sports Drink contains vitamins that will not just keep you up but will also help you strengthen your immune system and control blood pressure. Stay hydrated with this refreshing sports drink.

Ingredients

  • Raspberries: Has a bitter-sweet taste but is good when in comes to nutrients.
  • Lemon: Sour taste good for this drink.
  • Limes: One of the citrus fruits best added to drinks.
  • Sugar: Makes this sweet.
  • Salt: Balances the flavors.
  • Water: Makes high volume.

Preparation

  1. Juice: In a medium bowl, microwave the frozen raspberries until completely melted. Squeeze the juice by straining using a mesh strainer. Keep only the juice.
  2. Cook: Heat the raspberry together lemon and lime juice, the sugar, salt and water in a saucepan until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Chill: Transfer in a glass bottle then cool in the fridge.

Tips and Variation

  • Raspberries: You can add whole raspberries to add texture to your drink.

Storage

  • In the fridge: Cooling the Raspberry Sports Drink in the fridge makes it more refreshing. Preparing more to save time is alright. Just keep them in the fridge so it can last up to 4 days.

Raspberry Sports Drink

Serves: 5
Cook time: 5 minutes

  • 1 cup raspberries, frozen

  • 100 g sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 7 cups water

Instructions
