You don’t have to wait for Holidays to have Roasted Chicken on your dinner table. You can have this prepared on the oven, over a fire or a broiler. Having a whole chicken cooked brings much flavor and juicier on the inside and rich on the outside.

This flavorful, juicy, rich and savory Roasted Chicken recipe can be shared by the whole family over dinner that will surely be enjoyed by everyone because it comes with different tastes in one with just easy steps to prepare. With only simple ingredients available in your kitchen but surprisingly full of flavors in this Roasted Chicken. You cannot help but drool for sure.

Ingredients:

  • Whole Chicken: Ideal for roast chicken.
  • Salt: Enhances the flavor.
  • Ground Black Pepper: Spice up the dish.
  • Onion Powder: Adds to the depth of flavor.
  • Celery: Just use the stalk
  • Margarine: Use for coating and baste.

Preparation:

How easy this can be with just 5 steps:

  1. Preheat: Have the oven preheated to 350 degrees F.
  2. Season: Season the chicken by rubbing with salt, ground black pepper and onion powder inside and out. In the chicken cavity, place margarine in the chicken cavity then put the celery. Apply some margarine on the outside of the chicken.
  3. Bake: Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 180 degrees F, uncovered.
  4. Baste: Remove from the heat then baste with margarine.
  5. Wrap and Rest: Wrap in aluminum foil then rest for 30 minutes.

Tips and Variations:

You can’t be wrong adding flavors or using substitutes to this Roasted Chicken. You might want to bring your own recipe with this. 

  • Onion: chopped onion can also be used as chicken stuff for more juicy flavor. Has natural distinctive sweetness.

Storage:

You might want a whole roasted chicken but leftovers can come along. No worries, you can save them for tomorrow’s lunch.

  • On the Fridge: Place in an airtight container or wrap in aluminum foil then lay in the fridge.Refrigerating the chicken makes another 2-3 days life.
  • Freeze: In a freezer bag, place the chicken and freeze. This will leave your chicken good for a week.
  • Reheat: No reheating needed. Just thaw for 2-3 hours.
